SOLE has released a new single “Need you (with Seong Si-kyung)” through online music platforms. “Need You” is a song about a romantic relationship. Its lyrics describe themes of seeking and expressing love, and caring for each other.
The song’s emotional vocals convey feelings of loneliness and sadness when having to be apart from a loved one and the desire to find love that has been lost.
Moreover, the blending of SOLE’s mellow voice with Seong Si-kyung’s creates a sweet acoustic. The unique vocal styles of SOLE and the soft melodious voice of Seong Si-Kyung harmonize perfectly, and we are sure after you listen that it will remind you of a warm autumn day.
The new song was produced by Ahn Shin-ae from The Barberettes, a renowned producer, and features songwriting contributions from Seong Si-kyung, Sunwoo Jung-ah, Kim Se-jeong, Lee Hi, and Taeyeon.
Furthermore, the famous producer Philtre, known for creating hit songs for Dynamic Duo, Suran, and Beenzino, also joined in the arrangement and production, forming an “Avengers Combination”.
In a previously behind-the-scenes video for the song “Need you,” which was filmed on Jeju Island, SOLE expressed, “While practising this song, I thought, ‘I am so happy to sing this.’ It’s a song that makes me think a lot. I prepared myself diligently, so please support me.”
