CHUNGHA fans will be very happy about her comeback with her second full album, “Bare&Rare Pt. 1”. This album marks her solo return after a year and a half since her debut full album, “Querencia”.
CHUNGHA was actively involved in the songwriting and production process of all the tracks in “Bare&Rare Pt. 1”, considering it as both a challenge and an opportunity for her growth as an artist.
The album consists of a total of eight songs, including XXXX, Sparkling, Louder, Crazy Like You, California Dream, Good Night My Princess, Love Me Out Loud, and Nuh-Uh.
The title track of the album is “Sparkling”, a song that showcases CHUNGHA’s powerful vocals blended with a lively and energetic beat. It’s no wonder she’s often called the “”Queen of Summer””!
In this album, CHUNGHA aims to share her stories and reveal more about herself. For example, the B-side track “Good Night My Princess” reflects her childhood stories.
Through this album, CHUNGHA wants to tell and express herself. In an interview with the media, she said, “I feel like I’m taking off the bulletproof vest that people have known me for, especially the makeup and unique image. But this time, I want to take off all of that and show who I truly am. That’s the concept behind the album’s name.”
